Chris Kotcher's work is driven by connecting, entertaining, and making movement in the world. His work spans film, video, theatre, and the nonprofit arts -- through acting, film production, and his work as Director for the historic cinema & performing arts center, Wealthy Theatre.
His acting work has been seen across the world including at festivals like SXSW and Locarno. On Television/Streaming with credits in The Food That Built America and Most Dangerous Game. You may have seen him in short films online like Abandoned and Red Skies that collectively have surpassed over 4 million views on YouTube. His work on stage in Michigan has included regional productions of Noises Off, The Pillowman, Boardwalk Blues, American Buffalo, Unnecessary Farce, True West, Bard to Go, and the site-specific guerilla theatre performing arts project On Repeat.
Born and raised in Clarkston, Michigan. Currently living and working out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Grand Valley State University in Film & Video Production.
